Attn Naim Karakaya
Naim Karakaya graduated from the Marmara University Law School on 1995 and worked as a faculty member at the Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedural Law at Marmara University from 1998 to 2008. He has written his graduate thesis on confiscation in Turkish criminal law and his doctorate dissertation on self-defence in Turkish criminal law.
He established Karakaya Law Firm in 2009 to provide legal services grounded on his 16 years of consulting experience and academic background. He has represented his clients successfully in numerous high-profile criminal law cases.
Naim Karakaya continues his role as an educator by participating as a lecturer in seminars and conferences organised by bar associations and organisations across Turkey and providing lectures on Criminal and Criminal Procedural Law, Human Rights Law, Juvenile Criminal Law and Law Enforcement Law, and also lectures on Criminal Law Practice at Bahçeşehir University.
Naim Karakaya has published numerous articles on topics such as Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, Administrative Law and Human Rights Law, and speaks English.
